Q:  What kind of music do you play?

A:  Simply, whatever our client wants us to. We include a FREE online timeline and itinerary service. It’s an online request system which allows you to tailor the music you want for your wedding activities as well as a guest request system to give us a snapshot of what types of music you definitely want played, definitely don’t want played, and everything in between. Give yourself and/or your guests the ability to make requests before the event, veto anything you absolutely don’t want, OR simply leave it all up to our decades of experience entertaining crowds to make sure all of your guests enjoy themselves so you can kick back and enjoy the party.

Q:  What is included in your DJ Package?

A:  Our Packages for a typical wedding reception include music for Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing. Our time is simply from when guests arrive until when they leave. We use professional sound and lighting equipment that we keep updated so your are getting the best that current technology has to offer. Also INCLUDED in our package is Dance Floor Lighting, MC (Master of Ceremonies) Services, and any Consultation Time to discuss the Itinerary. We handle any announcements or special requests with ease and professionalism. We pride ourselves in communicating with our clients.

Q:  Do you Charge for Travel Time or Setup Time?

A:  No, Travel and Setup times are included within one hour of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Q:  Are you insured?

A:  Yes, each of the Pittsburgh All-Stars members is required to carry liability insurance.

Q:  Can you play music for the cocktail hour in a different room or outside of the venue? If so, is there an extra charge?

A:  Yes, We can play cocktail music in a different room or outside of the venue. A small charge may apply depending on the equipment needed.

Q:  Can you play music for the Ceremony? If so, is there an extra charge?

A:  Yes, we can play music for your ceremony in a different room or outside of the venue and provide a microphone for such services. There is a nominal charge added to your DJ Package for this service if needed.

Q:  What about your pricing can I expect?

A:  We encourage our clients to shop around and compare what you get with the level of service and professionalism we offer. We are not the cheapest, and we are not the most expensive either. We have decades of wedding experience, and use the highest quality, professional equipment. We treat each event as if it was our own. We try to offer an outstanding value for the services we provide, so gather a bunch of quotes and then TALK to us. Most importantly, we offer straight forward pricing based on some basic information about your event, and we give extra discounts if you bundle some of our services together. Be aware that plenty of other companies, web searches, and booking agencies offer a lower price, but may try to add additional charges for extra hours, setup, travel, basic lighting, or any other number of services that we INCLUDE up front. You will also be communicating with the person responsible for handling your event directly.

Q:  How do I communicate with my DJ?

A:  However you want . We are available via phone, email, text, Facetime, Skype, or of course in person to set up a meeting and get to know you and what you want for your big day. Whatever makes it comfortable and convenient for you. We have plenty of experience we are willing to share with you at no charge to answer questions or make suggestions anytime to make your wedding or event as successful and stress free as possible.
